Kn.E.C.T. Projects
Kn.E.C.T. – (Knox Elora Care Team) [pronounced connect] works on local and international projects.
Our local projects include:
Providing desserts for the Yearly Christmas Dinner hosted for people with no family or nowhere to go on Christmas Day.
Yearly, we clean the ditches of County Road 7.
Donated money to two families to help with funeral expenses.
Collected coats, blankets hats and mitts for the Salvation Army Coat Drive.
Helped build a Habitat for Humanity Home in Guelph for the project called, “My Neighbour’s House.”
Donated money to send a shipping container full of goods to the Dominican Republic.
Donated money to PAN (Presbyterians Aiding Nicaraguans) to send a shipping container full of goods to Nicaragua.
Provide fair trade coffee to a local Church for their coffee hours.
Kn.E.C.T. - (Knox Elora Care Team) [pronounced connect] is a small group of volunteers from the Elora/Fergus are who offer their hands and hearts to help in our local community and afar on international projects. We provide support to people in need in the Centre Wellington area as well as internationally in Nicaragua. The group was formed in 2004 shortly after the tsunami hit Thailand. This act of God created such a chain reaction of events it eventually lead to the creation of Kn.E.C.T.
