Our Members

Today, our group has 15+  members, (Lawrie, Cindy, Bianca, Jim M., Jennifer, Randi, Jim, Big Jim, Nichole, Andrew, Paul, Joseph, Rose, Joan, Ken, Alan, Susan, Emily, Evan, Eric, Shelley, Aileen, Greg, Melissa, Colin, Donna, Jean, JoAnn, Donna M, Laura K., Alix, Ben, Lindsay, Andrew S., Andrew B., Laura A., Emily, Suzanne, Vince, Carrie, and Kim……….that help on a regular basis with fundraising and projects.  We work on local projects around the community and travel to Nicaragua to do mission work.  Our last trip was in July of 2011 where we built a two room building in Xiloa as well as provided dental and medical supplies, clothing, food, material, and school supplies to the surrounding communities.  We provided 1600 pounds of food to families in the area and also provided ongoing support to our feeding centre and the wonderful lady named Francesca who helps us to run it.

Our main goal at Kn.E.C.T. is to make connections. Our goals for this year are to provide support to people in need within the Centre Wellington area as well as participate in a future international project in Nicaragua.

Our next international mission is yet to be determined.
