What’s Happening?

We have just returned from our latest mission trip in July of 2017.  We built two homes for two families in the Nindiri region of Nicaragua.  This is one of the poorest areas of Nicaragua.  One home was for Vladimir, his wife, Maria Luisa and their two children, Vladimir Jr and Lupee. The other was for a single mom, Carla and her children.  In particular, her son Kevin who is just a young teenager was a great help to us.

SAVE THESE DATES:

May 12th, 2018 is  our annual Fundraising Golf Tournament at Beaverdale Golf Club and don’t forget November 3rd is our famous Apple Pie Day.

Centre Wellington Food Bank

KnECT is pleased to continue to support Our local food bank.  We do this in two different ways. A monthly cheque is given as well as weekly food donations are taken over.

Adopt a Family

This past Christmas, Knect decided to adopt two families through the Family and Children’s Services program.  We ended up being  able to help 4 families through this program and we adopted another family through “Knections” in our community.  Our group was so pleased with the outcome.  “It is better to give than receive.”
